Hedvig Ördén of PDRI participated in the workshop "Intelligence, insecurity and the international: new encounters between IR and intelligence scholarship" at King's College. The workshop brought together scholars to discuss a wide range of topics at the intersection of intelligence and international relations. Participants discussed how to conceptualise intelligence in IR, touching on topics such as new intelligence actors, intelligence in the Arab world, international intelligence cooperation, practices of non-accountability and intelligence disclosures. Ördén presented a new article, co-authored with Elsa Hedling, on Disinformation, Deterrence and the Politics of Attribution, appearing in the May issue of International Affairs.
